High performance laser thickness gauges and displacement gauges.
All are process capable.
Designed for measuring the true "thickness" of
- opaque and clear plastic
- battery materials
- paper
- rubber
- steel
- ceramic film & chips
- copper foil
- foam
- fabric
- and many other materials.

Our Laser gauges are used to measure Thickness, Roll Runout,
Spindle Runout, Vibration, Displacement or Positioning (x,y,z), Flatness and Profile Measurements.
When properly mounted, these thickness gauges have
achieved better than 50 nanometer resolution in-process, (when used in conjunction with our LFE Linearization Module).
Our lasers (or yours) use our high speed Laser Controls Module . This module is manufactured with precision electronics that filter, condition, and stabilize the
signal; allowing you to
- capture and display accurate data at extremely high speeds
- subtract one laser signal from another (A - B)
- output the results in real-time and
- do it all at an extremely low cost
|
Note: Lasers offer an extremely accurate
thickness and 'displacement' measurement technique. However, to work properly, particular attention must be given
to laser selection, signal processing, calibration, linearization, mounting, the material you are measuring, and
process speed, if applicable. We have the experience necessary to maximize laser performance and has developed
unique solutions for thickness and 'displacement' measuring; these include gauge and fixture linearization, temperature
compensation, EZcal-ibratoin, and integrated fixture design.
